Packaging: 1 unitContents of the shipping box:
Airvisor 2 Spray Painting & Vehicle Refinishing Kit, DAVK-0001E, complete with: acetate chemical resistant visor with integral foam face seal (EN166 2-F), spraygun air hose with quick release connectors, two disposable visor covers, fabric balaclava and head cover and storage bag. Waistbelt complete (DAVW-1001E), including integral low flow warning device.
Characteristics:
Specific take-off point and gun hose (complete with adapter)
Acetate visor for optimum resistance to solvents.
Disposable visor covers to maintain optimal levels of vision. The antistatic coating minimizes the attraction of dust and paint particles from the work environment.
For the first time, a Class 4A device is available, with a total internal leakage of less than 0.05%, helping to reduce user exposure to the lowest possible levels. An important point when it comes to asthma and respiratory sensitizers.
Features and benefits of the belt adjuster unit:
Provides a stable flow to the head, (260l / min). Optimal control of the air flow to the user’s helmet that guarantees the user’s safety.
Rolling diaphragm design. Reacts quickly to changes in inlet pressure.
Inlet pressure does not affect flow. The air consumed by the spray gun does not affect the flow to the head.
Low flow warning device / whistle. Validates correct airflow at startup, warns of low-flow conditions during use.
Supplied assembled with a quick release auxiliary connector. Allows use of spray gun, Airvisor 2 actuated – hose operation. Reduced risk of trips and falls.
Specially chosen high-flow components. Minimal resistance to air flow throughout the system.
Internal carbon filter to eliminate odors. Removes the last traces of odors to ensure pleasant working conditions
Features and benefits of the Airvisor 2 helmet (standard shape):
Light helmet. Easy to use and for long periods, causing less fatigue.
Large visor with wide field of vision. Easy to handle demanding jobs, less risk of trips and falls.
Enhanced foam face seal. Improved performance
Specially designed supply tube and diffuser. Optimal delivery and regulation of airflow inside the helmet.
Cellulose acetate visor. Chemical resistance reduces degradation due to solvent / paint attack.
Disposable visor covers. Protect the main visor and maintain optimal vision, also minimize the attraction of dust and paint particles from the work environment
Head and neck cover for personal hygiene. It is provided as part of the “ready to use” kit.
Note: All Airvisor 2 respirator kits must be used with Sperian ‘Blueline’ air supply hoses to comply with certification. Maximum length for Class 4A devices is 10m.
Protective factors: NPF 2.000, APF 40.
(Total Inward Leakage is less than 0.05% according to EN14594 test methods for Class 4 devices).
Main fields of use:
Automotive and aerospace industries:
• Airvisor 2 systems are completely silicone free, eliminating the risk of paint finish damage, poor adhesion and retention, etc. (Many other silicone-free respiratory products are available within the Sperian range and are ideal for use in preparing paint areas).
• Airvisor 2 systems, their woven and molded plastic parts, have matte surfaces to trap and retain excess paint, reducing the risk of dried paint particles / flakes falling onto partially dry surfaces from cycle cycles. later paint and ruin them.
Painting of new vehicles / airframes in automobile / aircraft factories.
Vehicle refinishing in the accident repair sector.
Regular repainting of aerostructures.
Particularly suitable for areas where “Two-Pack” isocyanate paint systems are sprayed. Air supply systems provide an overpressure within the head piece, ensuring that all leakage in the face seal is to the outside. With isocyanate paints the use of such systems is a legal requirement in the UK. With this type of contaminant, the requirement is not only to reduce the worker’s exposure below the WEL, but to “reduce their exposure to as low a level as reasonably possible”, the use of a Class 4 device helps demonstrate compliance.
Furniture manufacturing industry:
Application of paints and lacquers / varnishes.
Spraying of colored dyes on the leather.
Protection against glues and solvents.
General Industry:
Wherever general painting tasks are performed.
Power coating industry:
Particularly suitable for all aspects of the needs of that industry.
Certifications:
EPI Category III.
Tested and certified according to EN14594: 2005 Class 4A.
