The pads should be replaced periodically (at least every 6 months) to maintain maximum attenuation. When not in use, earmuffs should be stored in a clean, dry container. Do not use solvents or petroleum products. Do not immerse the ear muffs in water.

Ear muffs, and in particular their ear cushions, can deteriorate with use and should be examined at frequent intervals for cracks and leaks.
