Product name: CLEARFLOW 3 Filtration Unit, with 2 double acting output
Maker: Honeywell Safety Products.
Protection type: Respiratory protectionProduct: filtration unitType: wall mountedBrand: Honeywell
Packaging: 1 unitCharacteristics:
The Clearflow 3 compressed air filtration unit is designed to provide breathing air to a number of breathing devices. Clearflow 3 removes particles and traces of oil and water contained in compressed air factory networks using a coalescing filter. It is necessary to use a carbon absorbing filter for the removal of odors and oil vapors. The Clearflow 3 range is available in two versions: with portable base and for wall mounting.
The Clearflow 3 can provide breathing air to up to four operators with supply air vents or up to two operators with vents in combination with auxiliary tools such as manual spray painting equipment.
Typical uses are:
• Handling or maintenance in oil and gas sector environments.
• Handling or maintenance in chemical sector environments.
• Painting and varnishing in the automotive sector.
• Work around viruses or bacteria in the laboratory.
Advantage:
• High filtration capacity thanks to high flow system (flow does not change when auxiliary tools are connected), high efficiency coalescing filter and high capacity carbon filter.
• New compact one-piece design allows for easy use and maintenance.
• Provides worker safety thanks to a differential pressure indicator (without the possibility of erroneous judgments).
Technical description:
• Material: filters with aluminum body, regulators with some plastic and brass components.
Supplied with CEJN, RBE, free or double acting outlets and without quick release connectors.
• Technical information:
– Coalescing filter: 1000 hour filtration (or until color changes) 99.97% at 0.01 micro.
– Charcoal filter: 1000 hours (or until odors are detected inside the breathing device).
– Air flow: 1600 l / min maximum.
– Air pressure: 8 bar maximum.
User Installation Instructions (Wall Mounted System):
• Attach the wall mount to a flat wall near the workstation.
• Leave enough space under the filter unit to allow removal of covers and filter changes (40 cm).
• Connect the factory compressed air to the isolation valve (1) with a ½ inch male BSP.
• Connect the supplied respirator to the outlet (9) with a tube of 14 mm internal diameter.
Checks before use:
• Carefully open the air inlet valve (1). Go slowly to prevent the air from coming out too fast. Otherwise, it may cause erroneous indications on the obstruction indicator (6).
• A pressure gauge (8) indicates the air pressure in the system. This can be adjusted using the valve regulator (7).
• When the air pressure is correct, push the valve in until it locks.
• The pressure must be adjusted according to the user manual of the breathing apparatus to a maximum of 8 bar.
Cleaning:
It is necessary to inspect the compressor and purge the filter housings on a regular basis.
Limitations of use:
Clearflow 3 filter systems do not remove CO or CO2.
Certifications:
The Clearflow system is not subject to the EPI directive.
